Artwork

The type of artwork you supply will depend on the printing process used for that particular product. Please refer to our guide below to enable you to supply the correct artwork.

Vector EPS

This type of artwork can be used for the majority print processes, for example the print on pens, calculators, tools, bags etc. Artwork can be saved or exported as a vector eps file from the majority of graphic art applications such as Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw and pdf.

Your vector eps file should include Pantone colour references, all fonts converted to outlines and where possible try to eliminate the use of single colour rasterised images. The majority of print processes and product types don’t allow for the reproduction of tints of a solid colour, any tinted areas of your artwork will need to be converted to a solid colour.

Rasterised

This file type (raster image) can usually only be reproduced using heat transfer or lithographic print processes, from single colour to 4 colour process. For example; a single colour image containing various tints of the same colour or a photographic image consisting of many colours. Heat transfer print can be used on the majority of fabric products and lithographic print on paper products such as sticky notes and note pads. High resolution CMYK EPS, TIFF or JPEG images are required with a resolution of at least 300dpi at the size to be printed.

Both vector and rasterised file types can also be converted and supplied as editable or high resolution PDF’s.

Please Note: Vector Art is preferred. It provides the best quality and allows images to be resized without loss of sharpness and detail.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT: Gif files, word processing documents such as MS Word/Power Point, Quark files, photocopies, business cards, letterheads, fax transmissions, etc. (These formats are too low of a quality to ensure you a quality imprint.)

NOTE: OUR DELIVERY SCHEDULE MAY DEPEND ON THE QUALITY OF THE ARTWORK SUBMITTED AND UPON ANY CHANGES MADE TO THE ARTWORK ONCE THE ORDER HAS BEEN WORKED ON.
